Lofting: A Modern Family Apartment

A Unique Blend of Geometry and Natural Materials

This apartment, designed by Stanislav Zainutdinov, is a perfect example of a modern family home that combines laconic geometry with natural materials. With a focus on functionality and aesthetics, Lofting offers a unique living experience for its residents.

Lofting was created for a large modern family, consisting of a husband, wife, and three boys. The design concept was inspired by the need for simplicity and the use of natural elements. Wood, natural stone, and concrete were chosen as the main materials, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere throughout the apartment.

The lighting in Lofting plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall design. Built-in profile lighting was strategically placed to provide both ambient and task lighting, ensuring a comfortable and functional living space. The living room features a stunning chandelier above the dining area, serving as a focal point and adding a touch of elegance to the space.

One of the strengths of Lofting lies in its ability to cater to the unique preferences and style of the clients. By understanding their needs and desires, the design team was able to create a space that truly reflects their personality and lifestyle. Attention to detail and careful consideration of interior design elements allowed the clients to make informed decisions about their investment.

The apartment spans a total area of 186 square meters and is thoughtfully divided into different zones. The open-plan living room seamlessly blends with the dining area and kitchen, creating a spacious and inviting environment for family gatherings. Three children's rooms with a shared bathroom provide a comfortable and functional space for the boys, while the parents enjoy a separate sleeping unit consisting of a bedroom, two wardrobes, and a bathroom. Additional features include a laundry room and a guest bathroom.

The realization of Lofting involved a meticulous approach to design and construction. The concept of incorporating more wood, rough natural materials, and a bold color scheme was executed flawlessly. The unique geometry of the apartment allowed for efficient space planning and the integration of convenient solutions.

The project commenced in February 2017 and was completed in February 2018. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to understand the clients' habits, preferences, and daily routines. This knowledge served as the foundation for creating a space that perfectly suits their needs.

One of the main challenges faced during the project was finding a balance between the clients' wishes and the overall aesthetic vision. However, the trust and confidence placed in the design team made it easier to materialize the plans and ideas. The result is a stunning apartment that combines functionality, style, and the unique personality of its residents.

Lofting has been recognized for its outstanding design and creativity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This prestigious accolade is a testament to the project's exceptional incorporation of art, science, design, and technology, contributing to an improved quality of life for its inhabitants.
